The Poudre Retired School Employees Association, PRSEA, consists of both active and retired employees of Poudre School District, Thompson Valley School District, and Estes Park School District. We are the local unit of the state organization, CSPERA (Colorado School and Public Employee Retirement Association). CSPERA members include former school district employees, judicial employees, prison employees, legislators, generally state employees – anyone who is part of the Colorado pension system, PERA (Public Employee Retirement Association).

PRSEA has a local scholarship program supporting graduating high school students, and a state scholarship program supporting continuing education for active employees. We support and protect the state public pension through education, communication and action. As part of a coalition with other employee associations, we are involved in legislation dealing with the state pension, education and retirement issues. Local email “Shout Outs” and CSPERA “Breaking News” / “News You Should Know” keep members informed.
